There are certain times of the year that just seem to be better for buying a pool. There are a lot of factors that go into determining when that is, but in general, the best times are during the fall and winter. Here are some of the reasons why.
Factors to Consider
Many pool companies will offer lower pricing during the fall and early winter. Also, in many cases, prices tend to go up when January rolls around. Landscaping is another consideration. A lot of people like to install new grass during the fall months.
Installing a pool after putting in new grass doesn’t make much sense since it will cause damage to landscaping. Putting in a pool in September or October, and then installing new grass in November, would be the logical choice.
What About a Spring Installation?
There are some people who are hesitant to put in a pool during the fall months. The reason is that once the weather cools down they won’t be able to use it. They’ll be looking at their pool for five or six months – and that’s too long. They will instead opt to have their pool installed in spring so they don’t have to wait.
Regardless of when you install your pool, it will be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. But it’s important, of course, to find the right company that will do the best job.
