Having a new pool installed is incredibly exciting, but you might be wondering what will happen during the process. After the consultation, excavation and reinforcement, you’ll be ready to enjoy your new backyard oasis. Here’s some information on what to expect.
Consultation
This will be the stage where you’ll work with an expert to make sure your new swimming pool meets all of your exact specifications. For example, you’ll choose what types of features you will want in your pool, as well as any water features you might want installed in other areas of your yard. Your contractor will also help you choose the specific spot in your yard that will be best for your pool.
Excavation
After you and your contractor determine what you want, the next step is to start excavation. Contractors will first dig up the ground, and will then install the pool’s components, such as the electrical and plumbing systems.
Reinforcement
This will involve installing steel reinforcement beams around the interior section of the pool. Once that happens, the interior will be filled with whatever material you and your contractor agreed upon. After the different surface areas of the pool are smoothed out, you will be ready to enjoy it.
